Our volunteers support families who are experiencing challenges additional to those of everyday parenting, including relationship breakdown, loneliness, isolation, children on the autistic spectrum, domestic abuse, lone parenting, mental health issues and physical ailments.
The volunteers visit the family once a week for 2-3 hours at a time, supporting them in areas identified by the families themselves, with this support monitored by the service co-ordinators, who provide ongoing support and supervision to the volunteers.
