After working for seventeen years as a sole practitioner, Stephen was joined in the firm, in 2007, by his son, Christopher. Christopher had qualified from Herriot-Watt University with BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and on joining the family business went on to qualify as a Chartered Valuation Surveyor.
Both Stephen and Christopher are RICS Registered Valuers and can undertake Bank and Building Society Valuations, for both residential and commercial properties, rental and insurance valuations and Home Reports, which include a single survey, mortgage valuation and Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
Other services include SAP Certification for new houses, building surveying services, Schedules of Condition and Dilapidation, title deed surveys and plans, overseeing the construction of new build houses for mortgage purposes and preparation of residential and commercial building plans, for both existing and new build, including the submission of applications for Planning, Listed Building and Building Warrant approval.
