"My inspiration comes from where I live. It's great to be designing and making jewellery in Orkney and we have a wonderful, dedicated team." - Sheila Fleet, OBE
Sheila Fleet was brought up in South Ronaldsay on a peninsula surrounded by the sea, wonderful views and low lying cliffs. Her early shoreline paintings gained her entry to Edinburgh College of Art in the mid-1960s where she studied jewellery and fashion. She went on to work for various major companies before establishing her own company in 1994. She celebrates her 20th year in business in 2014.
Her distinctive designs in gold, silver, palladium and platinum set with diamonds, precious stones and pearls are inspired by the stormy seas and shoreline colours of her island home. Her jewellery is worn and collected all over the world and is know for its vibrant enamel colours and fine hand finish. Sheila has engagement, wedding and eternity rings, jewellery for a special day or to match a particular outfit. Her specialists will be happy to advise on the perfect colour, style and size for you.
