We're absolutely thrilled to welsome the 2025 Island Games to Orkney this July!
It's an incredible honor for our Islands to host such a prestigious international evenet, bringing together athletes from across the wold to celebrate sport, culture and community. This year is the 40th Anniversary of The Island games!
Kirkwall will be at the heart of the action, and we can't wait to see our town buzzing with visitors, competirots and local pride. From the opening ceremony to the final events, there will be so much to enjoy - and our local businesses are ready to give everyone a warm Orkney welcome!
