KIRKWALL BID MANAGER
Are you passionate about the success of Kirkwall town and its businesses?
We are looking for a dynamic BID Manager who can deliver projects and events that will keep Kirkwall thriving, while keeping across the detail of the member database and Gift Card.
We need someone with great relationship and engagement skills, who can work with a wide range of folk to support, enhance and promote Kirkwall as we look towards an exciting period of development.
The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, an understanding of business, marketing and ideally experience working with a membership. Must be a good team player with the confidence to work without supervision, and the judgement to know when to seek it.
This is a fun role that requires commitment, passion and energy that will be rewarded with tangible results.
Hours: Min 28 hrs per week but full-time (35 hours) available. Some evening and weekend work. Flexible working considered.
Contract: Fixed term till March 2028.
Location: home-based with allowance, laptop and mobile.
Salary: £36,400 (full-time) or £29,120 (28 hours). 3% employer pension contribution. 6 weeks holiday (pro rata), including Bank Holidays.
